  • She has lived in the Sandhills for more than 20 years. She and her husband of 25 years have three sons.4
  • She has chaired the Sanford Area Growth Alliance and served on county parks and environmental boards.5

April will work with anyone to lower the cost of living. She’ll work to lower healthcare costs and for more better-paying jobs.

  • Fund our public schools fairly, so kids in small towns get the same shot as kids in big cities.6
  • Make sure growth fits our communities. In her words, “not all growth is good growth.”7
